Speechless

In a remote part of China, a mysterious Westerner appears on a riverbank, naked. Taken to the police station and to the hospital, he refuses to speak. When the hospital's orderly, Jiang, befriends the stranger and learns that the Westerner is to be transferred to a mental asylum, he decides to rescue him. Jiang accidentally discovers a secret that provides a key to the mysterious stranger's past.
