Secret Witness

Drew Highsmith (Golden Globe winner* Joaquin Phoenix) takes a vacation trip with his father (David Rasche) to sleepy Rock Island. Drew's close friend Jannie (Kellie Martin), the daughter of the local sheriff, introduces him to her friend Kurt (Golden Globe winner** Paul LeMat) who recently moved to the island. Drew and Jannie pass the hours of the summer nights by secretly peering into their neighbor's windows. The seemingly innocent game takes a turn for the macabre when Drew catches his father in the arms of a wealthy widow who later turns up dead, and Kurt is the primary suspect. Drew must then decide whether to clear Kurt's name, even if it means condemning his own father. SECRET WITNESS is a tense, adventure filled-thriller about the loss of innocence and arrival into adulthood.
