From acclaimed producer Barbara De Fina ("Goodfellas", "Casino") comes the true story of May 15th, 1848, when protesters in Paris finally pushed the French political establishment to let them have a popular vote to elect their ruler, only to see the outcome of their revolution backfire and turn against their own interests when the demagogue Louis- Napoleon Bonaparte seized the reins of power through the ballot box and turned France into a dictatorship.
