This Volume 1 DVD includes the very first feature length film "Hop-Along Cassidy", which introduced to America a more refined hero than who originally graced the pages of Clarence E. Mulford's Hopalong Cassidy books. Also included in Volume 1 are the several films in which Jimmy Ellison appeared and the first picture in which Russell Hayden made his debut as Lucky Jenkins.
