Heading a cast studded with talented performers, radiant Eleanor Powell plays a girl who dreams of making it big on Broadway. On her way to the top, she has two memorable encounters: one with a racehorse named Stargazer, whose winning ways could help to make her dream come true, and the other with a dashing Broadway producer/composer (Robert Taylor) who makes it all happen. Adding to the festivities are dancers George Murphy and Buddy Ebsen, famous comedian Willie Howard, and Sophie Tucker.
